Welcome to the Springfield Bicycle Club’s COVID-19 Summer Cycling Challenge (SBC-CSCC). There is no question, we are in an unprecedented time. The Springfield Bicycle Club has paused led-group rides until at least June 26 when Illinois is scheduled to move into Phase 4 (Revitalization). However, we still encourage everyone to get some exercise by riding with social distancing as a priority. As much as we love seeing our SBC family, we simply cannot execute large group rides in a safe manner right now the way you would expect from our organization.
But we believe the spirit of riding is more than a few Sundays each summer. So, we want to call on you, our riders, to help keep that feeling alive this year! That is why we are offering the SBC-CSCC (COVID-19 Summer Cycling Challenge) for 2020.
