It's Fall y'all
With October comes cooler temps, shorter days, and unpredictable weather. The summer season is winding down but don't put your bike on the trainer just yet! Check out some of the fun and unique rides the SBC is offering!

Saturday, October 23, 9AM-2PM
 
Everyone is invited to participate or spectate at the first cyclocross event to be held at Centennial Park.
There are categories for men and women, with staggered start times. 
This event is brought to you by our friends at the Springfield Park District.

After Dark NO DROP Social Ride on the Sangamon Valley Trail (approx. 24 miles) to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos. All riders welcome, group speed will be determined by the slowest rider. Lights MANDATORY - Costumes encouraged. !! Prize for the Best Costume!!
Ride starts in the southwest corner of Kerasotes Y parking lot.

Saturday, October 30, 8 -10 AM
 
Let's round out the 2021 riding season with one last big group ride!  The ride starts at Centennial Park with options for 20-, 40- and 62-mile rides. Aid stations in Pleasant Plains and Petersburg are planned, and the club will be serving up burgers and dogs in the park afterwards.
