October 2021 Incentive Report
The Fall Ride and Cookout on October 30th, was voted Ride of the Month. Starting at Centennial Park, riders chose routes ranging from 23 to 62 miles, using the same roads that were traveled on the Capital City Century. It was a seasonably chilly fall day, and many riders were cold, especially in the morning. Nonetheless, it was a fun event, and after the ride there was plenty of food available, from burgers and hot dogs to all kinds of cake and pie.
The Almost Anything award went to those who volunteered at the sag stop in Pleasant Plains and the post ride food event at Centennial Park. People prepared food and brought it to the event. There were many goodies for hungry cyclists to choose from. Thank you all for your dedication.
The Ride Leader Incentive Award was won by David McDivett for continuing to lead the Monday night rides to Chatham, a long SBC tradition. David will receive a gift certificate to his favorite bike shop. |
