November Incentive Report

November is typically a slow month for cycling.  Early darkness precludes evening rides and the weather is iffy on weekends.  There was just one led ride this month and that was Marty Celnick's Veterans Day ride on the wet and leaf covered Sangamon Valley Trail.  Marty rode out and back from Stuart to Centennial Park.  Marty's ride was also voted Ride of the Month by default and he has also won the Ride Leader Incentive Award.

There were no nominations for the Almost Anything Award.

Yoga for Cyclists Class - Last Chance to Sign Up
There are still a few openings available for this class.

Location: FLOW Midwest Yoga & Meditation  |  1921 West Iles Ave., Springfield, IL

This complementary class will be held Saturday afternoon, December 18^th, at Flow Midwest Yoga & Meditation (on Iles next to the Office Sports Bar). All SBC members are welcome to join. Non-cycling spouses or family members are also welcome to participate.

There is a 20-person limit to the class. Please RSVP so that we can get a head count.

SAVE THE DATE!  Bicycle Trivia Night

Date/Time: Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 5:30 PM
Location: Harvest Market (upstairs cafe), 3001 Veterans Parkway

Come on out for a Bicycle Trivia Night and pedal through the Winter doldrums with your cycling buddies (old and new).  No need to be a member of the club to attend and no need to have a PhD in bicycle trivia.  All are welcome.

Drop in any time in the evening.  Let’s imagine warm and sunny riding - Hawaiian/tropical attire is encouraged!  There will be raffle prizes, prizes for trivia…….and a crazy amount of bicycle fueled shenanigans.
