Volunteering in the SBC

The Springfield Bicycle Club could not function without our dedicated volunteers who serve on committees, help plan events, drive SAG, bake cookies....the list goes on and on. We'd love to honor those club members who sign up by offering the Volunteer Incentive Program. 

Currently, we're looking for assistance at the Capital City Century. There are opportunities to volunteer in the week leading up to the event (September 14, 2024) and on ride day.

Volunteer Incentive Program

How it works
Sign up for and complete at least 10 hours of volunteerism. You will have until December 31, 2024 to get your hours.

You may either sign up for a posted volunteer position or make arrangements to volunteer by sending an email to info@spfldcycling.org stating what you would like to volunteer for and when you are available.

Once you have reached 10 hours, we'll announce your accomplishment on the club's Facebook page and in the newsletter. You will also receive a long-sleeve shirt (design TBA).
